Cinderella was done in Patricia Corbett Theatre at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music(CCM). Cinderella is a musical based on the classic Disney tale in which Cinderella, a girl who is treated as a servant by her stepmother and two step sisters, meets a fairy godmother. She grants Cinderella a dress, shoes, carriage, and coachmen to attend the prince's ball, but the magic wares off at midnight. Cinderella and the prince fall in love, but when midnight hits she runs away, leaving a shoe behind and a lead for the prince to find her again.

As the designer on Cinderella, I had the opportunity to do a full system design from scratch, do console programming on a DiGiCo SD10 from scratch, make micing decisions for the full cast and orchestra, make content, and take on a leadership role throughout the whole process. However, I think my biggest point of learning and one of the most fun aspects of the show for me was just getting to learn to be a designer. Getting comfortable with making both artistic and technical decisions, creating with others, and communicating with others to reach a common vision and convey meaning was such an interesting process, and I am very grateful for the growth that it gave me.
